So far I have read the first three of this five book series. I have to say book 2 was my favorite though I enjoyed them all. Heart and Kenneth are the perfect no nonsense couple. No one else could have worked for either of them. I'm anxious to finish the series. I need to catch up on my LaQuette collection . She is a fantastic and solid writer. I recommend this series to those who appreciate strong characters, action and drama . You will regret not reading itProduct details

Enjoyed the books until I didnt realize hey I didnt notice book 1 but really excited about Kenneth and his alpha cop wife
I love this series, each book has excitement, a bad a__ leading lady and a man who adores her. It's great to read a book where the leading lady doesn't have a lack of confidence. Not sure why authors feel the woman has to be weak. I look forward to the next book. Read!!!!
This book has everything. Love, drama, suspense, and twists. A great 'close' for one hero and heroine, but lovely back stories and new beginnings for other stories involving characters/couples you want to know more about.
Protected Heart is very exciting interracial, romantic police romance that earned a rating of five stars. I enjoyed reading this action packed a d sensually thrilling romance novel. It was well written and executed. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to read a book with plenty of excitement.
Kenneth and Hearts passion was not there like it was in the first 2 books and then not to be able to share in them being pregnant a second time and birth of their son left me with a when did that take place. Bryan and Jussy's story is a standalone i'am sure.
OMG where do i begin Heart Mackenzie Shearlington does it again ...... The mystery and power just keeps coming. Beautiful blessing that they have the little person is now apart of them ( little Amere) and with each turn their love is tested and brought to the light but they always end up back where they should be. Now the shock on my face to discover the Bryan and Justice were an item let alone married. I am loving the and as well as the secret with the Tenetti family edge of your seat thriller. dont want to give it all but if you have not read it do not wait any longer.... Ms. LaQuette Hun i see a movie in your future.... High Five
I love Heart and Kenneth, now we have a new addition to the Searlington house. Great story, however it was split over too many angles for me. Great to see some old characters, True, Hunter, Big Willie and Kenneth's godfather, but I was confused about Justice.
The heat is sill hott with Kenneth and Heart. I hated to see Kenneth struggle so much in this book. However, Heart is his other half and he can be nowhere else if she and Amare are not there...
Hope to hear more from this talented author.
