In my wildest dreams, this book changes the world. It becomes the inspiration for an entire generation of young men to rise up against the culture of failure and defeat that has conquered so many of us. It will lead millions to rebel against the assumptions our society wants us to make about life. The book itself is a collection of my thoughts on diet and exercise; careers and personal finance; sex and dating; productivity; and finding meaning and purpose from within the wreckage of a spiritless and empty culture. I don’t consider myself a guru in any of these areas. I’m just a guy trying to figure it all out, and learning as much as I can from better men than myself. My goal is to share what I’ve learned, and tell the story of my journey so far. Hopefully the result will be that a few more of you come along for the ride.

"If you take away just one idea from this book, I want it to be this: You have more options available in your life than you think" - Frost

True that, your options really are limitless all it takes is clarity of mind and courage to let go of what makes us comfortable, in order to achieve something better. I burned through this book (kindle edition on my iphone) in two sittings. It's full of useful information that flies in the face of all of the regurgitated media drivel that is shoveled out through mainstream TV, movies, magazines, etc. The value of this book lies not only in the practical advice it offers about women, money, careers, learning, etc. but in the fact that it is expressed eloquently by a young man who's coming into his own. This book will be an inspiration to other men of the Millenial generation and is well-worth the time of any young (or old) man who wants to dramatically improve their situation in life. This book will be most beneficial for men who are starting to get settled in their careers and are coming to realize that having a "good job" and having your act together in a basic way, isn't satisfying in the long term. Of course you can get a lot of similar information from blogs and books (including the author's own freedomtwentyfive.com), but bringing it all together in book form was much more satisfying to me as a reader than stringing together a bunch of different blog posts. I hope Frost comes out with more books in the future, since he's an honest writer with a good head on his shoulders.

Regarding the 1 star review from "Michael Smith", he's way off base. Of course some of this information is available elsewhere, but this book is inspirational as a whole in a way that individual articles or pieces of advice can never be. And come on, grandma would never give you most of this advice, because she was raised in a totally different time with different rules of the game for what worked and what didn't. I agree that the tongue-in-cheek suggestion to live in a crappy but cheap part of town and learn martial arts isn't the most practical advice, but that review is extremely biased and misleading. Perhaps Mike's bitter that game, as practiced in the West, is probably punishable by death in Riyadh, so I would be bitter about sitting in a compound too. He seems to specialize in 1 and 5 star reviews. If he stopped at page 55 he's missing a ton of good stuff.

Keep at it Frost, you're doing good work. Your book flipped a switch for me. I'm very inspired to step up what I've been doing and I know that others who read this book will feel the same way. I'm excited to see such a high level of thought and insight from a member of our generation. I'm also glad to have read that you are a fan of Thomas Sowell and Steve Sailer. Count me in to the revolution.

Freedom TwentyFive The 21stCentury Man Guide To Life Frost 9781467980791 Books Reviews

Here is the review of Frost's book that I originally posted on my blog.

"Freedom Twenty-Five A 21st Century Man's Guide To Life is the most truthful and controversial self-help book that I have ever read.

It is full of specific, sound and practical advice but doesn't micro-manage every detail of your life.

If you want to know how to eat, how to exercise, where to live, how to educate yourself, which career to choose, how to start a business, how to invest money and what you should expect from your relationships with women then look no further.

I really can't argue much with what he has written.

I might not rate ETFs as highly as Frost does. I might want more guidance on knowing the difference between grass-fed and non-grass fed beef. But other than that, I got nothing.

He covers all the bases. He pulls no punches. He gives it to you straight and he has his head screwed on better at the age of 26 than I do at 38.

I was particularly impressed with his advice on education, careers and entreprenuership.

This isn't just a young man's guide. As a impoverished old fart who has suffered from many bad personal choices over the years, I still derived alot of value from this book."
